My Experience
My experience includes working with couples, individual adults, young people and families on a broad range of issues. I have extensive experience in working with clients on anxiety, depression, marital / relationship and parenting issues.
I worked in Singapore as a counsellor for many years, before moving back to the UK in 2014; during this time I gained experience in working with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. During this time I also worked with former addicts in a halfway house and with the residents of two children’s' homes in Singapore on many different issues. I have also authored a chapter on working creatively with clients for a book entitled ‘Solution Focused Practice in Asia’ this was published in February 2017. How I Work
I work from a Solution-Focused approach, I have found that working in this way supports clients in making the changes they want in fast and effective ways, however my training has taught me to work with clients in an eclectic way, finding the best therapeutic style for each individual client. I offer counselling and/or coaching sessions depending on the client's needs; this can be discussed prior to or during the first session. I offer both face-to-face therapy at my office in Westcliff-on-sea or online therapy via Skype or zoom.
I attend regular workshops and courses several times per year to ensure my skills are kept up to date. Vertical Divider
